22 weeks & our official Christmas Pic

So we needed to get a pic of us in front of the Christmas Tree and tomorrow I'll be 22 weeks so we took our pic and then took the belly pic. :)

In our pajamas!!

I'm really starting to 'expand' now and I'm noticing swelling. Before I was gaining weight only in my stomach, I've noticed my arms and my face getting bigger. My mom and her sisters and then my cousins got BIG everywhere and I thought I might luck out, but I'm not getting my hopes up now.

2010 New Years Resolutions List

I'm starting a list... I've been coming up with things ALL DAY!

1. Continue to learn more about God and His word and to follow & trust Him.
1. Be an amazing new mommy!! (but not the crazy, over-bearing, worry-wart kind)
(yeah... I have two number 1s. They're both extremely important!)
2. Train for a triathalon in spring 2011 (this training of course starting after Junior's born)
3. Master the art of baking a cookie from scratch. After my ginormous Christmas cookies that tasted a little off... I need some work on my pastry baking.
4. Religiously wash our sheets EVERY week. I confess, I wash the probably once every 3 weeks or so. :-D
5. Get my Professional Certification at work. It's going to be tough, especially when I have Junior, but I need to do it and I want it!
6. Set up some sort of "I love you" surprise for my husband every month. These things happen all the time and go unnoticed, that's why these are going to be a little bigger and a lot better ;)
7. Spend time with mine and his grandparents more. Time is precious.
8. Read at least 5 books! This is going to be a tough one. I read magazines like crazy (and not just the fashion and trash ones, but I love those too!), but I need to actually read a good book.
9. Visit my friend in Ft. Myers more. I haven't seen her since end of August (I think) and now it's New Years!!
10. Learn something new from my husband. He's a very talented man. He can build all sorts of things and fix them too!
11. And I know I haven't had Junior yet, but by the end of 2010 he'll be just over 7 months old.. so I want to have most of the baby weight gone!

That's it for now, I'll keep adding more as the day and the New Year's weekend continues. I should do a 6 month evaluation on this to hold myself accountable!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Continuous Wish List

I always see things that I like and would love to get someday, but when it comes around to Christmas time, my birthday, or when it's time to treat myself to a present... I forget! How awful is that!

So here's another one of my lists that I'll be starting to continuously add on to. :)

Christmas Recap

Here is a quick recap of Christmas.

We had Christmas at our house on Christmas Day with Trav's family and my Dad and Grandma.

p.s. my belly is getting so big! 21 weeks pic.

Then on Saturday we went to my Mom's to spend the evening with my brother, his girlfriend and daughter. We got totally into Wii Bowling.

By far the coolest Christmas present from my Mom and brother and car seat w/ matching stroller by Eddie Bauer.

Very cute!!!

What a great Christmas I feel extremely blessed. One thing that was missing is that me and the hubby didn't get a pic in front of the tree with Junior in my belly... but the tree is still up so maybe we'll still try. :)

Preggers N Proud = had a cute "Good daddy's are hot" shirt

Baby Center = has good information

I just realized that I'm 6 months pregnant! WOAH! Time flies! I knew I was over half way but 6 months sounds like a long time!

It's the end of the work day...

YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

I haven't been this excited to get off work in a LONG time! I'm not sure if it's because I'm so bored at work, I have stuff to do at home, I have 2 days off, I'm going to have a family-filled weekend, it's Christmas,or all of the above, but YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Recent picture and belly boo-boo!

So I uploaded a recent pic from my camera to the computer and I also took a picture of my ouchie that I got on Little T! I was making Corned-beef and Cabbage last night and it splashed on my stomach. I was wearing a thin shirt so it hurt pretty bad. Anyway, I haven't been burned like that in a long time. I think it's funny, it's the little guy's first boo-boo!

We're roasting hot dogs over an open fire tonight so hopefully I can keep my belly out of that :)

P.S. Just saw on TV that TLC already has a Secret Life of Tiger Woods special tomorrow night. And it's suppose to talk about how his wife new about the other girls and how they have non-normal sex. Really... I'm over his issues.

10.5 wiggly inches

Wow! I was just reading that our Little T is 10.5 inches long this week and a size of a cantaloupe!! Is 10.5 inches really fitting into my stomach right now? After reading that I should be bigger than what I am!

I've never really paid attention to women when they saw what their baby's length was when they were born. I only listened in on how much they weighed... NOW I see the significance of the length! It seems impossible!

I'm going to text my mom to see if she remembers how long I was. :)

Somebody's kicking me!

So I haven't posted a BPF (belly picture friday) in a long time let alone on a friday! Well here's my most recent, I'm sure we'll start to see the changes in the next several weeks.
Travis felt Little T kick last night!! I was so surprised he could feel him since I'm only 20 weeks! We were watching Steven King's 'IT' and Little T was flipping and kicking like crazy so I told Trav and he put his hand on my stomach and Little T kept on kicking!! Trav had an awesome smile on his face. It was an awesome milestone! Trav said he couldn't believe that he was that strong. That's our boy! :)

What an exciting 2 weeks this will be! It's Christmas week & then New Year's week! Sounds like lots of fun and family time.

I've started the tedious task of house cleaning, since we will be hosting Christmas dinner. I say tedious because we have 3 cats and a husband, and they're messy! Today I got our bedroom cleaned and laundry done. Tomorrow I have to work till 4 pm and then I hope I'm feeling up to it to tackle the 'cave' or furture baby room! It's not too bad, just Trav's clothes everywhere and the desk is full of papers that need to be filed away.

I went to the grocery store today to get the necessary supplies to make Jelly Cookies, Old Fashioned Peanut Butter cookies, fudge, and chocolate pretzels. Yummy! I will be giving these out to the grandparents and parents as Christmas presents because they insist that they don't want anything for Christmas. I need to make at least enough cookies to give out to 6 different groups! That sounds like a lot of baking on Christmas Eve. Did I mention that I've never made cookies from scratch before!!?? I just learned today that there's a difference between baking powder and baking soda! The hubby asked me when did I become a cook tonight as he was dishing out his corned beef and cabbage dinner. ....good question actually... Maybe it's the housewife-mommy instinct that's kicked into me. But he's right, ever since we got married I've been a cooking-beast!

goodbye normal jeans, hello secret belly fit!!

So I finally had to say goodbye to normal jeans. I can no longer have them unbuttoned with a bella band. :(
With that sad... I LOVE the secret belly fit jeans Motherhood has!

They feel amazing! There's no restriction on my lower belly at all and believe me, Little Travis is much happier with these pants. What's even better is I found a khaki and a green pair for work! Score!

I had my.. 4th?? (Can't remember how many I've had now..hmm) Doctor's appointment. This was my first one along with out Trav. He has a lot of work to do right now and really can't take the time off work. So I got weighed... 178 lbs! Yikes! I can deal with another 10 lbs if Little T needs it but once I hit 190... I'm going to start getting a little worried!

His heartbeat was great 145. My iron was low so she prescribed a supplement to take with my daily vitamin. Oh! And she also wants another ultrasound!! Yeah! On Jan. 4th. So I'll be like 22 weeks. She said she wants to see him bigger and better. What's cool is that Mom is coming up from St. Pete to go with us on this one. That'll be really special.

I haven't made any progress on the baby's room yet... I have to do a massive house cleaning this entire week because we will be hosting Christmas dinner. So maybe I'll atleast get the cave clean to start transforming it into Travie's room. It sounds like a lot of work now since I'm kind of sleepy. :T

blog face lift

I'm not really excited about how my blog looks, nor do I know how to make it pretty...
Maybe I just like to see change, so I get tired of looks quickly, hence the blue?? (and my boredom is unbearable)

By the way.. I got my Christmas Pins in the mail yesterday!! They're so cute and simple!

I also got the Christmas presents in that I'm going to give my mean coworkers. Tis the season to be jolly and giving :) I'm going to write Kelly Park 2009 on the back of their little heads in a silver sharpie.

I got all these cute things (12 per pack) for CHEAP from Oriental Trading. www.orientaltrading.com

The T Family update

A lot seems to be happening in these past few months. So much that I can't believe that we're almost into the 2nd week in December! I haven't even begun to Christmas shop yet :(

We've been spending a lot of time visiting friends, working, and doing church functions. I love it, but I miss the boring weekend!

We had such a great Thanksgiving. Sunday the 21st we went over to Dave's place for Friends Thanksgiving, we brought A&C C. (friends). It was a nice gathering, but Dave lives soo far away! It's an hour drive there and an hour drive back.
Thanksgiving Day we went to Trav's parent's house for the celebration. There was Aunt & Uncle, Uncle's Dad, Grandpa & Grandma, Brother, Sister, his Mom & Dad, and us. It was nice and the food was good ol' home cooking.
That Saturday night then we went with the A&C friends to Light Up Mount Dora and saw their Christmas light display. After that they came back to the house and we played a fun board game called Dirty Minds. Hilarious!

On to a not so much fun topic... work. Work for Trav & I has been 'ew' (for lack of a better word). We're both going beyond our range of work duties and getting little to no recognition. I can deal with mine a little more because of the joy of TJ is just all I think about. But poor Trav is working as hard as he can for that company and it seems as though they don't care. They usually give out a hefty Christmas bonus, well this year they said it wasn't going to be that much and they're right, it wasn't. But when the owner of the company allows family members on the pay roll that don't come to work and are overpaid and then supports their living style... well I wouldn't blame the small Christmas bonuses on the economy. Ugh, that business is a joke and I can only pray that Trav gets out before they crumble.

Okay now I have to close with something happy because that company drives me nuts!
We're starting to piece together ideas for TJ's room! It's going to be so crazy when there's a crib in our guest room!

Good times ahead because God is always good :)

18 weeks and watching it grow!

Officially 18 weeks. Wow! Time is flying!! I can really tell how much he's growing by my pants that are slowly gettting tighter and tighter. In the mornings if I lay on my back I can totally feel and see the uterus hump that the doctor's measure.

AND i can feel little TJ kick!! For the last week or so, I just thought it was gas or my stomach was just shifting around, but this week I can really tell that it's the baby. It's very cool. I can't wait til Travis can feel him. :)
